Sanitation
Well equipped toilet block containing Gents, Boys and Ladies/Handicapped toilets. Hot and cold running water to all wash basins plus male and female adult shower facilities.
Washing Up
Facilities available OUTSIDE toilet block.
Chapel
Quiet open air chapel for Scout's Owns and Investitures etc.
Telephone
There is a public telephone on site: 01923 266466. Please ensure that the telephone is treated with respect.
Fuel
There is plenty of dead tree wood in the surrounding woodland. Limited supply of firewood on the site woodpile.
Providore
Excellent camp providore for the sale of sweets, drinks, souvenirs and other basic items. Opening times as advertised.
Caravans
A small caravan is available for hire. Personal caravans are permitted by prior arrangement with the Warden.
Camp Fire
There is a large Camp Fire Circle for general use.
Drinking Water
There are 4 drinking water taps at convenient locations in the main camping area.
Open Fires
Ground fires are NOT allowed. The site provides altar fire frames. On woodland sites, ONLY GAS COOKING is permitted. Fires may only be lit where directed by camp staff.
NOTE ABOUT DOGS
ON NO ACCOUNT ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON SITE. THIS RULE MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS.
